AM Anime Music Video: Pure Thrust by Nostromo
I started looking for videos on Vimeo after a few people spoke up about not being able to see YouTube videos due to regional restrictions. I was not disappointed in what I found. This is definitely my new favorite Monogatari Series video! Nostromo’s uses a visual style is much less dizzying than a lot of Monogatari Series videos (which is really saying something, since so much of Studio Shaft’s style involves dizzying imagery.) The soundtrack,“Tonight” by Yuksek, is fantastic: think Daft Punk with an upbeat Beatles song as an interlude in the middle. I will definitely be trawling this site - and Nostromo’s Vimeo channel - for AMVs more often.
